Andy Murray welcomes new family member after heartbreaking loss

British former tennis player Andy Murray introduced his new family members to his tennis fans on the social media platform Instagram.

Andy is well known for his exceptional performance and talent in tennis, along with his witty sense of humour. He shows off his new pet puppy, a brown-coloured Flat-Coated Retriever.

He posted two pictures on his Instagram. In one picture, he was sitting on a bench with his dog by his side and in another picture, there was a few-week-old puppy who was looking cutely at the camera.

His fans liked the picture so much and showered their blessings in the comment section. Fans commented that the puppy is so cute, and Andy is the best player at bringing back the tennis ball. Some comments include life will never be the same, and owning a Flat-coated retriever is crazy.

The previous year, Andy’s puppy, a Border Terror called Rusty, passed away, as he shares this news on the social media platform Instagram. He writes a caption that he was the most loyal and protective companion of their family, and he was very patient with the kids, and they all learn so much from him.

The tennis players continued that the house does not feel the same, and it looks so empty without the puppy. He misses the noise that he made when he wanted to lick and wanted a biscuit to chew, which was infuriating at that time, but today, they will do anything to hear that noise.

Before Rusty, the player’s family also lost another dog in 2022, who was a Border Terrier named Maggie May. When Andy announces this news on Instagram, he wrote a caption where he says that his family said goodbye to their pet dog, who was the first dog of this family. He said to his fans that they should give cuddles to their pets because when they are gone, it stinks so much. The players said thank you to their puppy and said she was a star.

The British tennis star lives with his wife, Kim and their four children in Surrey. They have 3 daughters, Sophia, Edie, and the name of the third daughter is not confirmed and one son. The new addition to the family, a Flat Coated Retriever name has not been named yet.

Andy was always vocal about how much he loves dogs, and their presence makes him relax and unwind after a hectic tennis match. His children also love having a pet dog with them.

The tennis legend is retiring now, but he is not too far from the court, and we are sure that this flat-coated retriever will grow up soon with lots of playful responsibilities.
