The family of Eric Clapton gave news of their growing family after his daughter, Ruth Clapton, his wife, is pregnant and will going to give birth to their third child
Peter Greenwood shared that as a singer and content creator with 40 years are happy to share the news on Instagram on Wednesday. They posted a beautiful couple picture of themselves.
The video they posted looked as if Ruth was standing to the side of his pregnant wife’s stomach before her wife and Peter eagerly rubbed the belly, and they also showed the picture of a sonogram scan.
They excitedly talked about the 12 weeks of baby they are gonna have soon, and they further talked about the due date, which is at the end of January 2026.
Peter and Ruth share that it will be their first child, while Ruth talked about her children named Isaac and Theodore, sons of eleven and nine years age from Dean Bartlett, her ex-husband.
Ruth talked about his struggle with a morning sickness condition called hyperemesis gravidarum. She also mentioned that this struggle had been experienced since her previous two pregnancies.
Ruth said in her stories that it was a terrible disease she was experiencing and asked that to taken out of this condition, she also mentioned that she remained sick all day with a tiring feeling.

Ruth mentioned his partner and said that she is lucky to have a partner who managed kids, the house and me all together, while also working in the office, which made me feel like a lucky and amazing person.
Ruth also talked about the journey of this pregnancy, which is quite relaxing and difficult in comparison to the last two. She gave this credit to her partner Peter, who showed his efforts to make a difference and helped her enough so she could rest and relax.
Peter and Ruth also shared that they both were trying to conceive for a long time, but were not sure that they would expect this early.
Ruth shared that she is the daughter of Yvonne Kelly and Eric. Eric was AIR Studios Montserrat’s manager and had an affair with Ruth while married to his first wife named Pattie Boyd.
Yvonne Kelly was also married at that moment, and Ruth was hiding this secret from the media and public since 1991, when the media exposed that he welcomed a daughter from an affair, then his four years old son Conor`s death was reported, where he fell out of an open window from the Manhattan apartment floor building 53rd floor.
The bond between Ruth and Eric was close from their childhood, but they separated for some years, but rejoined each other and now stand as a close couple.

Eric further talked about his daughter, and shared that she specialises in paper making, knitting, weaving, painting, performance, and mostly works out of Brooklyn. He also mentioned that her work has been displayed at different exhibitions.
Melia and Eric’s second daughter, Ella, 22, is presently a student, studying sociology at the University of Newcastle, England.
