The American actress, Sarah Jessica Parker, said goodbye to Carrie Bradshaw, a fictional character who established her career.
Following the announcement made by showrunner Michael Patrick King, “And Just Like That” will end after season 3. Jessica shared on her social media Instagram account on August 1st, while looking back at her journey as the iconic character.
She wrote a detailed caption that involves her character breaking hearts, heels and habits, and she loved, lost, won, tripped, leapt, and fell. Her character aged and wiser, and had made the hardest, worst, and best decision. She added this caption to a mixture of pictures from “Sex and the City” and its revival series.
Jessica also added that her character travelled near and far for the new, old friends and love. She had dates, drinks, boyfriends, a husband and a truly great love and romance. She ran in heels and danced with Stanford while referring to the late actor Willie Garson.
Jessica also added that Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte will never be better friends than them by honouring the costars Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, and Kristin Davis.
An actress said that Carrie Bradshaw has dominated her professional heart for 27 years, and she loved her the most among all.
She thanked all the cast, crew, and fans of the show by saying everything was joy, adventures and hard work, and all of this will be forever before she forgets. She ended a caption by thanking all of them and hoping that everyone would enjoy the final two episodes of the show as much as they enjoyed shooting it.
