According to the sources, the British TV presenter James Whale has died at the age of 74. James’s friend, Mike Graham, a British journalist, pays a tribute to James by reading an obituary on air. Whales have the fourth stage of kidney cancer.

The Whale was first diagnosed with cancer in 2000, and at that time, his one kidney was removed. In the year 2020, the cancer had returned in his kidney, spine, brain, and lungs.

Graham, in his obituary, said that Whales began his career in the early 1970s when he founded a new kind of radio in Britain, the late-night shock jock phone-in.

The James Whale Radio Show at the end of the 1980s became a cultural phenomenon and was transmitted on ITV every weekend. Through this, he attracted millions of viewers; in this way, he became a household name.

James hosted a variety of programmes for ITV, Sky, and the BBC before he found his new audience for his talk show, and he did all this while continuing to make headlines during his appearance on a reality show, Celebrity Big Brother.

James also launched Kidney Cancer UK after surviving from his kidney cancer in 2006 and raised hundreds of thousands of pounds. James was awarded an MBE in the New Year's honours by recognizing his extraordinary contribution to broadcasting and charity in the year 2024.

Mike ended the speech by saying that Whales broke the rules and shaped all the frequencies by his terms, for a million James was not just a broadcaster, and he was a companion, instigator, and good friend that they all will never forget. Mike added that James will be blessed, and they will all miss him.
